FREE conference calls!

Connect with family and friends for FREE using conference calls!

Now usually when you hear the word free you may think there's bound to be a catch, however since I found http://www.freeconferencecall.com I've been blown away by the quality of the sound and the ease of setup and use.

http://www.freeconferencecall.com is a global company so you can enjoy the benefits with whoever you want, wherever they are in the world for the price of a regular phone call.

I mean, if you have landline (local) numbers included with your mobile phone package, then these calls are free.  UK friends - that must be most of you. :-)

International friends, sorry, you'll have to investigate your own country provision.

Here's an example of how we use it in at London Room Lets
  • Sign up for a new account
  • Email out the link to all your participants
  • Start talking!
In less than 5 minutes, you could be talking about the refurbishment works, the latest deal with your JV partner or how to arrange the next surprise birthday party for Hanna!

You may already use the other free (online calling app beginning with S) and therefore you may be wondering why should I use this service when I already use S?!  Well, if any of your attendees are non techie - they will almost certainly know how to dial a number followed by another set of numbers (your unique code) and be talking to you in less than 3 minutes.

With the other well know app, every one needs an account, needs to be able to download the app and understand how it all works...  Easy for some, but not everyone.  http://www.freeconferencecall.com is incredibly easy to use and it's more professional for telephone (conference) calls.

Here's how I've sent out a notification to my JV investors recently...

I look forward to speaking with you tomorrow at 11:30am

Kindly dial into my conference number:

Dial-in Number: ??????

I love http://www.freeconferencecall.com and recommend you get yourself an account and start using it to stay connected with your teams, JV partners, family and friends.

Why I love Trello

A few years ago when I was in IT, a colleague mentioned this To do list and I've loved it ever since.

From then until now, I've recommended it, used it and still use it today and wholeheartedly recommend it to you.

What I love most about it:  It's simple to use, it's available on the iPhone, it's in the cloud and it's free!

Here's an example of how we use it in at London Room Lets
When a new house comes online..
  • I create a new board with the property address under our organisation
  • I then create 3 lists: To do, Doing and Done.
  • I add the relevant team members to the board who then ensure that it's kept up to date and everyone knows exactly where we are with each task required to set up each house.
Another example of how we use it is when preparing the inventory for our appliances.
Using the same property board we originally created:
  • Create a new card, "Appliances"
  • Within Appliances,  create a Checklist with all the appliances
As you download each manual, simply tick off which one you have and just attach them to the card.  Once you have downloaded the relevant manuals from the manufacturers website, then upload them to your house online portal/repository

This way everyone knows who is responsible for it, where we are (notes) and when it's due to be completed and or if there are any issues.

Very easy when you know how.

We highly recommend it, here's our affiliate link to get you started: https://trello.com/hannahunter/recommend

You can find a good example here about how it can be used for other life activities.

Share your thoughts or comments on how it has helped you.

ps.  Did I mention that the best features are free and you can share it with your teams?
